Our saffron coupe threads come in aromatic bags of 50 grams each. Each has a crocin value of over 260 (acc. to ISO 3632-2), which makes it some of the most premium quality saffron that you can currently find.

Our saffron shows off a rich, deep red colour with a tantalizing aroma and long threads, which have even more stunning appearance. You can enjoy this spice for Mediterranean and Asian dishes as it provides a unique and elegant touch.

When analysed according to ISO 3632-2 (2015/2016), our saffron has a colour value of 292,8 (crocin), fragrance of 36,5 (safranal) and picroconcin or taste measured at 102,8.

While saffron is a delicious and healthy additive, it should not be consumed in large quantities. In fact, you should only ingest a maximum of 1.5 grams per day. If pregnant, saffron may also be taken to lower blood pressure and reduce the symptoms of mood swings but it should only be used in moderation and in accordance with your doctor's advice.
